ODU WOMEN'S NO.2-RANKED TEAM ALREADY BREAKING THE RECORD BOOK.

BOMBS AWAY: Led by sophomore Aubrey Eblin, the Lady Monarchs have lit it up from behind the 3-point arc. Eblin now holds school records for 3-pointers in a game (8), season (73) and career (88), as well as 3-point attempts in all three categories (12 in a game, 179 season, 215 career). As a team, Old Dominion set school records for 3-pointers (12 in a game, 151 season) and 3-point attempts in a season (445). The Lady Monarchs put up a record-tying 28 attempts against Virginia Commonwealth.

CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION: When Old Dominion beat Liberty 102-52 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, it was the sixth time this season the team scored 100 or more points - the most in school history.

NOT EVEN CLOSE: Old Dominion's 116-26 victory over Indiana State marked the largest margin of victory in school history.

THE LADY IS A THIEF: Ticha Penicheiro's four steals in Sunday's game against Purdue give her 144 for the season, one more than the school record established by Nancy Lieberman in 1978-79. Penicheiro's average of 4.6 steals per game broke the record of 4.1 she set last year.

ON THE OFFENSIVE: Old Dominion has averaged 86.9 points per game this year, breaking the previous best of 85.8 points set in 1978-79.

A PERFECT . . . 11: Clarisse Machanguana's 11-for-11 day against nationally ranked Duke was the best shooting performance from the field in school history. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
