TULANE M. DUNCAN

Tulane Marvin Duncan, 79, of the 300 block of N. College Drive, died March 21, 1997, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Duncan was born in Hampden Sydney, Va., and was the son of the late Samuel David and Lelia Florence Cason Duncan.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and a former employee of Franklin Equipment Co., Pretlow and Co. and St. Regis Paper Co. Mr. Duncan was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church, where he was a deacon and an elder.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Goldzsie Meadows Duncan; daughter, Barbara W. Holland of Suffolk; two sisters, Mary D. Creasey of Lynchburg and Lillian D. Stone of Cherry Hill, N.J.; brother, Roy W. Duncan of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Michael W. Brown, Gary Todd Brown and Debbie B. Euken; three great-grandchildren, Corey Euken, Kendall Euken and Courtney Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. James B. Lambeth at Franklin Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at a later date in College Church Cemetery, Hampden Sydney. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franklin Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer's Association, 20 Koger Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, Va. 23502. Wright Funeral Home is in charge.
