James Warren Conrad, 70, of Avalon Hills, died March 22, 1997, in Chesapeake.
A supervisor for P. Lorillard Tobacco Co., he retired after 38 years service. He was a Pittsburgh native and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and Chesapeake Shrine Club, Khedive Temple of Norfolk. He was past president of Tidewater Food Dealers Association, past president of GMRA, Scottish Rite Bodies Crafton Lodge No. 653 AF & AM.
Survivors include his wife, Della M. Conrad; two sons, James Owen Conrad of Virginia Beach and Lee Warren Conrad of Newport News; granddaughter, Amada Diane Conrad.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Joseph T. Carson III. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
