NELLIE C. MCNEILL

Nellie Crain McNeill, 94, died at Pellcare Nursing Home, Hickory, Sunday, March 23, 1997. A native of Currituck, N.C., she also resided in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Chesapeake, and a charter member of the Order of the Eastern Star Great Bridge Chapter No. 155.

Mrs. McNeill was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie Harris Crain and the widow of Clarence M. McNeill. She is survived by three daughters, Iris L. Griffin of Taylorsville, N.C,, Ann M. Taylor of Altamonte Springs, Fla., and Frankie M. Hudson of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 28, at 2 p.m. in New Hollywood Cemetery, Elizabeth City, N.C. The family will receive friends at Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, an hour before the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
