Faye Silling Davis, 54, died March 25, 1997, in Riverside Regional Medical Center.
A native of Portsmouth and a resident of Yorktown for 31 years, she was a homemaker and member of Yorkminster Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, William Thomas Davis; three daughters, Stacy Breanne Major of Colts Neck, N.J., Chryse Lauren Davis, Marcie Rachelle Davis, both of Yorktown; grandchild, Robert Alann Slezak of Colts Neck; father, Julian Thomas Silling Sr., and mother, Sarah Inez Silling, both of Portsmouth; two brothers, Julian Thomas Silling Jr. of Kent's Store, Va., and Cameron Ricks Silling of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Yorkminster Presbyterian Church by Dr. John Sadler. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Umphlett Funeral Home, Newport News. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
