Fosteena V. Russell, 78, died March 26, 1997, in a local hospital.
A native of Hickory, N.C., she was the widow of John G. Russell and retired in 1981 from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. She was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church and Sunday School class and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her beloved son, John G. ``Johnny'' Russell Jr.; and extended family, the Judith Milling family.
A private service and burial will be held. Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
