Ruth L. Harrell, 73, died March 27, 1997, at a Virginia Beach hospital.
Born in Norfolk, she was a retired clerk of records for C&P Telephone Co. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Peoples of Lake Worth, Fla., and a niece, Evelyn Holder Hinkle of Harrisburg, Pa.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Memorial donations may be made to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
