JAMESTOWN EXPOSITION HOMES OPEN FOR TOURS

SEVEN OF THE Jamestown Exposition homes, built as part of the Exposition of 1907 and now located on Dillingham Boulevard at the Norfolk Naval Station, will be open for a spring tour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 9.

Homes on the tour are the Michigan House, Connecticut House, North Carolina House, Missouri House, Georgia House, Delaware House and Virginia House, home to the Supreme Allied Commander, Altantic/Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Command.

The tour is sponsored by the Tidewater Officers Wives Club, which will have a boutique, the Tidewater Collection, set up at the North Carolina House. Refreshments also will be available there.

No food, photography or strollers will be allowed in the houses, and comfortable, flat shoes are recommended.

Tour cost is $10, and there are a limited number of tickets. For reservations, send a check made out to TOWC to: TOWC, P.O. Box 55203, Norfolk, VA 23505. For information, call 464-4655.
