Retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer Fredrick R. Dailey Sr., 86, of the 2300 block of Paramont Ave., died March 28, 1997.
Born June 8, 1910, in North Dakota, he was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea, retiring as a chief warrant officer of the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service. He was also retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a machinist.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Bettie Dailey; a daughter, Estella M. Barnett of Chesapeake; three sons, Frederick Ralph Dailey of Chesapeake, Alonzo C. Dailey of Suffolk, Curtis T. Peterson of Athens, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor Dave Libengood. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
