Doris Smith Mayes Todd, 80, of the 4200 block of Nautilus Ave., died March 28, 1997, in her residence.
Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of Alton Gray Todd Sr. and attended Laurel Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Murden and Lois Spruill, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Alton G. Todd Jr. of Chesapeake, Gary D. Todd of Norfolk; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Rupert R. Wallace. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and also at 4216 Nautilus Ave., Chesapeake, at other times. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
