Marlene A. Giffear, 54, of 9500 block of Inwood Court, died March 28, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was born in Omaha, Nebraska.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph A. Giffear; three daughters, Debbie Lindstrom of West Palm Beach, Fla., Christine Stutes of Gary, Ind., Kandy Diaz of Santa Rita, Guam; a stepdaughter, Edith Giffear of Kissimmee, Fla.; two sons, Gary Kelly, Brian Kelly, both of Norfolk; three stepsons, Albert Slobodian of Columbus, Ohio, Christopher Slobodian and Joseph Giffear, both of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Caroline DeGeorge of Omaha, Neb.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
