THOMAS G. GRAY

Thomas G. Gray, 77, of the 4000 block of Elliott Ave., died March 28, 1997, in Maryview Hospital.

Mr. Gray was born in Portsmouth and was a former member of Celestial Baptist Church. He was a former cab driver with Safeway Cab Company.

Survivors include one daughter; one sister, Marion G. King of Portsmouth; three brothers, Charles Gray of Long Island, N.Y., Joseph Gray of Hyattsville, Md., and Theodore Gray of Wichita Falls, Texas; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Celestial Baptist Church by the Rev. Leon J. Boone. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Family and friends will assemble at 1301 Wool Ave., the home of Marion G.
