Salvatore Edward Ragone, 84, of the 5800 block of Woodside Lane, died March 31, 1997, in Maryview Medical Center.
A retired store manager at Safeway Foods, he was a native of New York, N.Y., and a Roman Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Ornstein Ragone; daughter, Carol A. Canada of Portsmouth; son, Stephen E. Ragone and his wife, Marguerite, both of Reston, Va.; two brothers, Alfred Ragone and Louis Ragone, both of Florida; six grandchildren, Deborah Davis and her husband, Michael, of Portsmouth, Gregory E. Canada and Stacy R. Canada, both of Portsmouth, John Ragone of Reston, Va., Matthew Ragone and his wife, Cynthia and David Ragone, all of Reston; a great-grandchild, Morgan Ann Davis of Portsmouth. He was predeceased by his grandson, Timothy Ragone.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Snellings Funeral Home from 7 to 9 tonight. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
