ILLINOIS OFFICER WILL ASSUME COMMAND OF HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOOL AT HOSPITAL DURING THE CEREMONY, WHICH IS SLATED FOR 10 A.M. APRIL 18, CAPT. JANET HIGGINS WILL SPEAK.

Capt. Sue Flood will take command of the Naval School of Health Sciences at the Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in an outdoor ceremony at 10 a.m. April 18 on Hospital Point. She will succeed Capt. Charles L. Anderson.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the base gymnasium.

Speaker for the change of command will be Capt. Janet Higgins, deputy assistant for education, training and personnel, who will represent the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery.

Flood currently is executive officer at the Hospital Corps School in Great Lakes, Ill. She received her master's degree in education administration from Old Dominion University.

Anderson is leaving here to become facilitator of the Navy Command Leadership School in Newport, R.I.
