Lena Allen, 89, of the 600 block of Kingsborough Square, died March 31, 1997, in a local hospital.
She was born in Chesterfield, S.C.
Survivors include a brother, Wade Allen of Holly Hill, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Evelyn Allen Pope of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in First Pentecostal United Holy Church, 1434 Wilson Road, Norfolk, by Elder A. Ray Rouson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 5542 Gates Landing Road, Virginia Beach, at noon Saturday for the procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
