NORMAN R. SHRIEVES

Norman R. Shrieves, better known as ``Honk,'' 79, died Wednesday, April 2, 1997, in N.A.M. Hospital, Nassawadox.

A native of Accomack County, Va., he was the son of Levin Shrieves and Etta Lewis Shrieves. He was a retired clerk from Penn Central Railroad and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Cape Charles.

Survivors include two sons, Norman R. Shrieves Jr., Robert Wayne Shrieves, both of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Trinity United Methodist Church by the Rev. Fred G. Marvel. Burial will be in Cape Charles Cemetery. Family will join friends at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Cape Charles Rescue Service, Cape Charles, Va. 23310. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
