Thomas H. Cassidy, 61, died April 2, 1997.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Mr. Cassidy was a merchant marine officer in the Military Sealift Command. He was a Roman Catholic. His honors include a Bronze Star with Combat V, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.
Survivors include his wife, Doreen G. Cassidy; a daughter, Christine D. Cassidy of Virginia Beach; and a son, Daniel E. Cassidy and his wife, Wendy, all of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday by the Father Robert Cummins in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
