Richard A. ``Bubba'' Baumgardner, 33, died April 4, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

He was a native of Gloucester County and had made his home for the past few years in Chesapeake. He was a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson Vocational Rehabilitation School in Fisherville, Va.

He is survived by mother and father, Margaret and Richard Baumgardner of Hayes; three sisters, Brenda Drinnon and her husband, Daniel, of Burke, Va., Cindy B. Wong and her husband, Kee, of Hayes, Patricia Cruse and her husband, Jackie, of Culpepper, Va.; paternal grandmother, Bonnie R. Baumgardner of Gloucester, six nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in Rosewell Memorial Garden by the Rev. Alan Rock. The family will receive friends, for a celebration of Bubba's life, at Hogg Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. today. < KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
