DeAndre' KeyShawn Palmer, 5, of the 5500 block of Campus Drive, died April 9, 1997, in his residence.

A native of Chesapeake, he is survived by his parents, Nailah Aisha Collins and Andre' Tyrone Yates; two sisters, Keyonna Collins and Elexis Collins, both of Virginia Beach; stepfather, Ernest Lee Collins III; grandparents, Ernestine and Ernest Stewart of Virginia Beach and Velma Simmons of Chesapeake; great-grandmother, Jeanette Smith of Virginia Beach; two aunts, Tameika President of Virginia Beach and Roxanne Yates of Chesapeake; uncle, Earnest K. Stewart of Virginia Beach; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 875 Baker Road, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Steve Peacock. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be today from noon to 8 p.m. A wake service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the church prior to the service.
