GEORGE A. HUSSEY III

George Adam Hussey III, 74, died Saturday, April 12, 1997, in his residence. Mr. Hussey was born in Hopewell, Va., and was a retired residential construction contractor and a Methodist. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was the husband of Lillie Scarborough Hussey of the home.

Besides his wife, surviving are a daughter, Susan Estrada of Grandy; two stepdaughters, C. Renee Hughes of Stumpy Point and Michelle Rodgerson of Goldsboro, N.C.; son, David Lee Hussey of Eureka Springs, Ark., and a stepson, Donovan Ruth of Hampton; three sisters, Hazel Warnock of Kingman, Ariz., Anne Wolpole of Topping, Va., and Margaret Newell of Castro Valley, Calif.; two brothers, Theodore Hussey of Wilburton, Okla., and Charles ``Buddy'' Hussey of Hopewell; and 11 grandchildren.
