CARROLL G. MARTIN

Carroll G. Martin, 86, died April 11, 1997, in Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News.

She was a native of Charlemont, Mass., and attended ``the Little Red Schoolhouse'' in Charleton and graduated from Bliss Commerical College, North Adams, Mass.

Survivors include her sons, Brian Martin and Wennis Martin; her grandchildren, Nancy Tuck, Jeffrey, David, Daniel and Monica Martin; two great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Kaitlyn; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends in Maine, Massachusetts, Florida and Virginia.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 1997, in Ebenezer United Methodist Church by the Rev. Carl J. LeMon. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Brian Martin's home, 9164 Wigneil Extension. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her memory to the music fund of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1589 Steeple Drive, Suffolk, Va. 23433. R.W. Baker and Co.
