ALFRED T. WILLOUGHBY JR.

Alfred ``Pete'' Thomas Willoughby Jr., 62, of the 700 block of Summers Place, died April 12, 1997, in a local hospital.

A retired major for Pinkerton Security Services, he was a native of Portsmouth, a retired Air Force staff sergeant and a veteran of Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Gale Willoughby; two daughters, Kelly Santee of Copley, Ohio, and Donna Yoho of Suffolk; two sons, Steven Willoughby of Portsmouth and Gary Willoughby of Elizabeth City, N.C.; sister, Rose Catlett of Portsmouth; brother, Cliff Willoughby of Portsmouth; and eight grandchildren.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. E. Clifton Whitlock. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, today from 6 to 7 p.m. for visitation. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
