Calvin E. Barton, 70, of the 4900 block of Haygood Road, died April 12, 1997.
A retiree with 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy, he was also retired from T.R.T. as a supervisor. He was a Clifton, Texas, native and a member of Norview Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Barton; two daughters, Carol Dinkel and Susie Simpson, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Richard E. Barton and his wife, Kelly, of Virginia Beach, and Richard M. Barton of Michigan; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, 1997, in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. to receive friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
