Gail Leona Zimmerman, 45, of the 3700 block of Peterson St. died April 12, 1997, in her residence.

A Norfolk native, she is survived by her son, James C. Zimmerman Jr. of Virginia Beach; mother, Ethel L. McSpadden, and father, Glenn A. McSpadden, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Glenda L. Queen and her husband, Michael, of Norfolk and Terrah J. Peterson and her husband, William, of Chesapeake; grandchild, Tabitha Lynn Zimmerman of Norfolk; two nieces and two nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, George Wayne Davis; maternal grandparents, Frank and Ethel Lucay.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Douros. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
