FRIEDA V. GEORGIADES

Frieda Veca Georgiades, 84, of 8015 Keene Road, died April 14, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center.

Mrs. Georgiades was a native of Hoboken, N.J. She was the widow of George C. Georgiades and was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Brian Helmus.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include two daughters, Christella G. Fletcher of Va. Beach, Sadie G. Christ of Norfolk; a son, Christopher Georgiades of Norfolk; two brothers, Nicholas Vecca of Dunnellon, Florida, Salvator Yanonne of Staten Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Jacqueline F. Helmus, Cynthia F. Richardson, Febronia Christ, Tasos Nick Christ Jr., George Jack Christ; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Helmus and Matthew Helmus.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 1997, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Julian Goodman. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

A Christian Wake Service will be held today at 7 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel. The family will be at 8015 Keene Road, Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
