Louise C. Wood of the 1200 block of Burlington Road died April 15, 1997, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
A Norfolk native, she was the widow of Roy Edward Wood and a member of Community United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include his sister, Doris C. Fox of Virginia Beach; numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Jean McDonald. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times in the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Louise C. Wood c/o Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit, Sentara Leigh Administration, 830 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, Va. 23502. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
