JAMES CULBERTSON

James Culbertson, 75, of the 4000 block of Garwood Drive died April 14, 1997, in his residence.

A native of Coeburn, Va., he was a sheetmetal worker at Norfolk Naval Shipyard and attended Church of God of Prophecy. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Beulah Culbertson; two daughters, Carol Rose of Arlington, Va. and Terry Lee of Portsmouth; son, James E. Culbertson of Portsmouth, N.H.; three sisters, Edna Worley of Bristol, Va., Barbara Coon of Chesapeake and Hope Wake of Las Vegas; brother, Raymond Culbertson of Lebanon, Va.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. W.S. Kidd Jr. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
