Ervin Woodrow Mosley, 78, of the 4000 block of Charity Neck Road, died April 16, 1997, in his residence.
A retiree from Ford Motor Co. with 33 1/2 years service, he was a Princess Anne County, Va., native and a member of Charity United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose for 44 years, past governor of the Virginia Beach Lodge No. 1198 and No. 1682. He had a fellowship degree in the Moose and was a lifetime member of the Legion of the Moose No. 197.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bernice Lee Mosley; daughter, Virginia Dodson and her husband, John, of Berea, Ky.; son, David Mosley Sr. of Virginia Beach; sister, Ruby Brown of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Phylis Madison, his son, Woodrow Mosley, and his parents, Henry and Emily Mosley.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Charity United Methodist Church by the Rev. Tommy Reynolds. Burial will be in Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be a Moose service today at 7 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The family will remain there until 9 p.m. to greet friends. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
