Harry Lee Goddin III, 57, died April 16, 1997, in Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville, Va.
He was born July 9, 1939, in Portsmouth to his mother, Frances Kelly Goddin of Portsmouth, who survives, and his father, the late Harry Lee Goddin Jr.
He was an industrial engineer for General Products Inc. and a member of Virginia Train Collector Inc., Lionel Collectors Club of America and Train Collector Association.
Also surviving are his wife, Ann Hudson Goddin; son, Harry Lee (Chip) Goddin IV of Marshall, Va.; daughter, Leigh Ann G. Yurasits and son-in-law, James A. Yurasits, both of Orange, Va.; brother, Gregory Gene Goddin of Chesapeake; sisters, Judith Ann Robinette of Tabb, Va., and Sharron Marie Jancolek of Puyallup, Wash.; two grandchildren, Jamie Leigh Yurasits and Julia Ann Yurasits, both of Orange.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Saxe Cemetery, Saxe, Va., by the Rev. Alex Joyner. Preddy Funeral Home, Orange, is in charge. Family night will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
