Cecile Estelle Simpson Patterson, 95, died Saturday, April 19, 1997, in a local nursing home. She was a native of Lynchburg, Va., and the daughter of the late Daisy Burke Childress and Nolly Pinkleton Simpson. She was the widow of Hansford B. Patterson Sr.
She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Virginia Beach and the Woman's Club of Norfolk.
She is survived by two sons, Hansford B. Patterson Jr. of Virginia Beach and Charles Richard Patterson of Chesapeake.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 21, 1997, in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Rod L. Bell Jr. Cox Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
