BUFF T. KOCH

Catherine Buff Taylor Koch, 41, of the 200 block of 58th St. died April 18, 1997, at the home of her parents after a valiant fight against cancer.

Buff worked with her family as a commercial sales representative for Taylor's Do-It Centers in Virginia Beach. She also served as their Adopt-a-School Coordinator. She was a 1973 graduate of First Colonial High School and graduated from Mary Baldwin College in 1977 with a B.A. in political science. She was a former member of the Junior League of Norfolk and Virginia Beach and a current member of the Junior Virginia Beach Garden Club and the Princess Anne Country Club. She had also been an active fund raiser for the American Heart Association and was a member of Galilee Episcopal Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Norfleet Koch; a son, Taylor Randolph Koch; parents, R. Dawson Taylor and Ann N. Taylor; three brothers, Robert N. Taylor, Russell D. Taylor Jr. and Joseph D. Taylor II; and five nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted Wednesday, April 23, at 2 p.m. in Galilee Episcopal Church by the Rev. John Burley. Burial will follow in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Galilee Episcopal Church following the burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society. H.D.
