Lewis A. Ashe, 89, of the 700 block Gainsborough Court, died April 21, 1997, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Born in Jackson County, N.C., he was a member of Centerville Baptist Church and a retired foreman of Greenbrier Farms.
Survivors include his wife, Verna M. Ashe; two sons, Billy Ashe of Virginia Beach, James Ashe of Kenly, N.C.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. David Shelton. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
