ELSIE B. SKEETER

Mrs. Elsie B. Skeeter, 93, formerly of the 2400 block of Badger Road died April 18, 1997, in Portsmouth.

A native of Nansemond County, she was predeceased by her father, Nelson Skeeter; her mother, Uniter Boone Skeeter; and her spouse, Dennis Skeeter.

She was a member of Mount Ararat United Church of Christ, Suffolk.

Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Elvenia Deloatch of Suffolk; brothers, Mr. Johnson Skeeter of Norfolk, Mr. Marvin L. Skeeter of Portsmouth, Mr. Artis Lee Skeeter and Mr. Sam Skeeter of Suffolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Crocker Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. L.E. McLaurin. Burial will be in Lauder Skeeter Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Skeeter, 16 Calvin St., Portsmouth. The family will assemble at the funeral home today at 12:30 p.m. for the funeral.
