Ibeatrice Caudle Crow, 89, of South Fairview Circle died April 22, 1997, in a local hospital.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., she was predeceased by her parents, Marshall Fulton and Martha Jane Burke Caudle, and her husband, James Arthur Crow.
She was a secretary with Grimsley and Grimsley in Portsmouth and also a retired secretary for Suburban Propane. She was a member of Cradock United Methodist Church and a member and past worthy matron of Victory Chapter No. 16-O.E.S.
Survivors include her son, James Eugene Crow of Portsmouth; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, in Cradock United Methodist Church by the Rev. Michael Robbins. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. An Order of Eastern Star service will be held today at 7 p.m. followed by visitation until 8 p.m. at the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Eastern Star Home of Virginia, P.O. Box 6633, Richmond, Va. 23230 or Cradock United Methodist Church. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
