Webb Brantley Basnight Jr., 93, a longtime resident of Norfolk, died April 22, 1997.
Mr. Basnight was born in Edenton, N.C. on September 4, 1903. Mr. Basnight was a life-long insurance sales representative, having retired after more than 60 years of a distinguished sales career in which he earned many top achievement awards. He had been an active member for most of his life of the Congregation Christian Temple in Norfolk.
Survivors include daughter, Beverley A. Pfost and her husband, Roger A. Pfost; his son, W. Brantley Basnight III and his wife, B.J. Basnight; his sister, Mary R. Randolph; two brothers, William Harry Basnight and A.A. Basnight.
A private graveside service will be held. H.D.Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
