Police are looking for a 10-year-old boy who was last seen Monday night when he left his apartment in the Pine Oak section to take out trash.
Dominique Angelo Roscoe of the 200 block of Short Leaf Court was last seen about 6:45 p.m., according to Mike Carey, a spokesman for Virginia Beach police.
Authorities have not ruled out the possibility that the boy may have run away.
He was described as a black male, about 4 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing about 66 pounds.
The fifth-grader at Thalia Elementary School was last seen wearing a blue-and-orange New York Knicks starter jacket, black nylon warmup pants and blue and white Nike sneakers.
Anyone with information about the boy is asked to call Virginia Beach police or Virginia Beach Crime Solvers at 427-0000.
If the boy's disappearance is discovered to involve criminal activity, callers to Crime Solvers could be eligible for a cash reward. KEYWORDS: MISSING PERSONS
