Jesse M. Taylor, 70, of the 5800 block of Campbell St. died April 22, 1997.
The widower of Louise Taylor, he was a member of Grove Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Gregory Taylor, Wayne Taylor and Vincent Taylor; brother, Fred D. Taylor; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two daughters-in-law, Devona Taylor and Gwendolyn Taylor.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Grove Baptist Church by the Revs. Melvin O. Marriner and Leslie Thomas. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will assemble at 5904 Campbell St., Portsmouth. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
