Mary Commander Llewellyn, 82, of the 100 block of Suburban Parkway died April 23, 1997.
A retired floral designer for Norfolk Florist, she was a native of Elizabeth City, N.C., and was predeceased by her husband, Milton Woodrow Llewellyn. She was a member of Norview United Methodist Church, Estabrook Garden Club and Mary Williford Circle of the King's Daughters. She was a judge for the Federation of Garden Clubs and a past member of Suburban Women's Club. She had won several awards for her floral designs.
Survivors include a son, David Llewellyn, and his wife, Kathy, of Chesapeake; and grandson, David Llewellyn of Chesapeake. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Korany.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. John F. Shappell. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
