James T. Wang, 80, died April 19, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Don-Yang City, Zhejiang Province, China, he was the widower of Wan-Jan Lin Wang. He was a chief of police in Taipei, Taiwan, retiring with 40 years service. He was a member of First Chinese Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Ta-Chang Wang and his wife, Chiu-Shaing, of Virginia Beach, Ta-Lui Wang and his wife, Li-Ping, of Taiwan and Ta-Chung Wang of Taiwan; three daughters, Guo-Shang Wang and her husband, De-Lang, of China, Marina Blagen and her husband, Mark, of Virginia Beach, and Jeanette Cheng and her husband, James, of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Tuan Rong and Tuan Fung, both of China; three grandson, Shih-Hao, Yi-Ming and Marcus; four granddaughters, Ya-Ping, Yi-Fung, Yi-Hung and Michelle; and a great-granddaughter, Chen-Chen.
A funeral will be conducted at at 2 p.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by the Rev. Brian McDonald. Burial will be in Colonial Grave Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
