A 36-year-old Norfolk man has been arrested and charged with 13 sex-related crimes, and detectives are asking parents who think their children may have been victimized to call police.
The incidents occurred in the Wedgewood Mobile Home Park between August 1995 and last month, said police spokesman Mike Carey. Dwain Lee Bryant of the 7500 block of Yorktown Drive in Norfolk was staying with a family in the park when he allegedly molested or exposed himself to several children, Carey said.
The victims were all 5 to 9 years old, Carey said.
Bryant was charged with three counts of sodomy, seven counts of aggravated sexual battery and three counts of indecent liberties. He is being held without bond in the Virginia Beach Correctional Facility.
Parents who think their children may have been victims should call Detective Joe Schuler at 427-4101. KEYWORDS: CHILD MOLESTER SEX CRIME ARREST
