Martha McMillian of the 700 block of Lake Edward Drive died April 24, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Edgecombe County, N.C., she was the widow of Roy James McMillian and was a retired domestic for the Norfolk City School System.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Vines of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mary Jane Riddick of Philadelphia and Mary Williams of Norfolk; a brother, Robert Parker of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Graves Funeral Home Chapel by Elder John Peet. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. There will be a wake service from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 28. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
