Weston ``Potsy'' Lester Klise Jr., 67, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at his home.
Mr. Klise was born Dec. 8, 1929, in Portsmouth, Va., the son of the late Weston Lester Klise Sr. and Geneva Cherry Klise. He was a member and deacon of Washington Baptist Church; served with the Navy during the Korean Conflict; and was associated with the South Wales Golf Course. He was retired from civil service.
Survivors include his wife, Betty C. Klise; two sons, Guy Ross of Middleburg, Va., and John Klise of Nuuk, Greenland; four daughters, Sue Klise Roepker and Janis Klise, both of Spokane, Wash., Gale Gencarelli of Lynchburg, Va., and Carolyn Parker of Portsmouth; a sister, Jeannine Buchman of Ridgefield, Conn.; and 10 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Washington Baptist Church, Washington, Va., by the Rev. Phillip W. Bailey. Interment will be in Flint Hill Cemetery. Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal, Va., is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
