DOROTHY F. LIVERMAN

Dorothy Frances Liverman, 77, of the 400 block of East Hill Lane, died Saturday, April 26, 1997 in Chesapeake.

Mrs. Liverman was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Herman and Lola Lupton Parker. She was the widow of Melvin Vincent Liverman. She was a caregiver for a local day care center and a former Girl Scout leader.

Survivors include her daughter, Julia Frances Krist of Chesapeake; her son, Melvin Vincent Liverman Jr. of Courtland; two sisters, Beverly Irving of Chesapeake and Pat Ruffin of Conroe, Texas; four grandchildren, Claude Wall, Christine Beecham, Glenn Liverman and Melvin Liverman III; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Tom Mercer. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the Girl Scouts of America. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
