MARIAN F. MARTIN

Marian F. Martin of the 4400 block of Greendell Road died April 26, 1997, in Norfolk.

Mrs. Martin was born in Suffolk and was retired from civil service at the Fleet Training Center after 36 years. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and a member of Alpha Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi for 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas H. Martin; a stepdaughter, Pamela S. Hanaburgh of Staatsburg, N.Y.; a stepson, Geary T. Martin of Dennilion, Fla.; a sister, Hallie L. Gardner of Colts Neck, N.J.; a brother, Maurice P. Trotman of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; and mother-in-law, Jodie B. Martin of Portsmouth. She was predeceased by a son, David Michael Friel.

A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Centenary United Methodist Church by the Rev. Donald Seely and the Rev. Celeste Heath. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the building fund of Centenary United Methodist Church. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
