FLORENCE R. JACQUES

Florence R. Jacques, 94, died April 27, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mrs. Jacques was born in Algiers, La., and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Jacques. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Iris Haresign of Fairfax, Va., Carole McPherson of Urbanna, Va., and Flo Supan of Richardson, Texas; a son, Frank Jacques Jr. of Richmond; two sisters, Eleanor Holden of Madisonville, La., and Alice Commagere of New Orleans; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Matthew's Catholic Church by Father Timothy Drake. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A reception following the service will be held at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beth Sholom Nursing Home. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
