Susanna Halstead Bickert, 72, died April 29, 1997, in a local hospital.

A native of Nottingham, England, she is survived by her husband, Edward F. Bickert; daughter, Sandra Vavosa of Swampscott, Mass.; two sons, Daniel E. Bickert of Springfield, Va., and James F. Bickert of San Francisco; two sisters, Jeanne Berman of Tempe, Ariz., and Irene Celona of Prescott, Ariz.; two grandsons, Michael Vivosa of Swampscott and Sajym Bickert of Phoenix.
