BROTHERS CHARGED IN SUFFOLK TRIPLE SHOOTING

Two brothers were arrested Friday and charged in a triple shooting two weeks ago.

Amar R. Skinner, 19, of the 1300 block of Sierra Drive, and Donte L. Skinner, 18, of the 1100 block of Cogic Square were charged with six felonies each: Two counts of malicious wounding, two counts of throwing missiles at an occupied dwelling, and two counts of use of a firearm in a felony.

Police said the charges stem from a shooting outside a house in the 1100 block of Railroad Ave. April 19.

Those injured were Fernando Wilson, 27, of the 300 block of Richard Street, who was shot in the left thigh; Tony Vaughan, 25, of the 100 block of North Division Street, who was shot in the lower leg; and Mikeith Wilson, 17, of the 200 block of North 4th St., who was shot in the left arm.

The brothers were arrested about 3:30 a.m. They were being held in Western Tidewater Regional Jail without bond. ILLUSTRATION: Amar R. Skinner
