ARTHUR RINES

Arthur Rines, 46, of the 300 block of Windship Cove, president and owner of Top Hat Productions, died May 1, 1997, in a local hospital.

A native of Norfolk and longtime area resident, Mr. Rines was the son of the late Abraham S. Rines.

Survivors include his mother, Rae Y. Rines of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Adele Rhodes and Ida Rines, both of Virginia Beach; a nephew, Andrew Rhodes of Virginia Beach; an aunt, Anne Putterman of Norfolk; and his loving, longtime companion, Susan P. Gary of Norfolk.

A chapel service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. today at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at 1071 Colonial Meadows Way, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Congregation Beth El or to the American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
