Thomas ``Buddy Boy'' Milton Smith of Southampton Parkway died May 1, 1997, in Emporia.
He was a native of Southampton County and retired from Planter's Peanut Co., Suffolk. He was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church, Capron, and is survived by his son, Steven Ford of Jamaica, N.Y.; foster sister, Annie Williams of Sunbury, N.C.; brother, Gregory L. Smith of Laurel, Md.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Pine Level Baptist Church by the Rev. Melvin Earley. Burial will be in Smith Family Cemetery, Capron. Remains will be placed in the church at noon. William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
