William Nathan Wilkerson Sr., 69, died May 2, 1997.
A native of Joyner, Va., he was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Shop 56, and a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Candise Marie Wilkerson of Bluffton, S.C., and Joyce Evonne Kleve of Anaheim, Calif.; son, William Nathan Wilkerson Jr. of Chesapeake; two sisters, Ruth Morris and Clara Matthews; four grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Skip Rustay. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
